This work continues my exploration of the book as an object adapted to and reimagined alongside external or environmental forces.

We consider the book as repositories of knowledge, even extending to symbolic acts such as book-banning and burning, but ultimately bound to nature by their materials and subject to its laws.

This ongoing project centers the book as a medium through which we can find ways to subvert threats of deterioration and loss, using materials and presentations that adapt to — or suggest the potential to endure — different conditions, or that question notions of proper care and engagement.
